Email Signature Image Maker
A handwritten sign-off at the bottom of an email adds a personal touch, but only if the image behaves: small enough not to bloat every message, transparent so it sits cleanly on any background, and narrow enough not to break on phones. This preset produces exactly that from a photo of your signature.
Leave empty for best quality. Targets force JPG unless transparency is on.

Common uses
- Add a handwritten sign-off to a Gmail or Outlook signature block
- Keep the signature image under attachment-like file sizes
- Make a signature that looks right in both light and dark mode clients
- Replace a scanned signature that was rendering as a white box
Good to know
- Photograph your signature in flat, even light with dark ink on white paper — clean input makes a clean footer image.
- The 320-pixel width fits standard email layouts; wider images get scaled unpredictably by some mail clients.
- The 50 KB target keeps the image from inflating every email you send — signatures ride along on each message.
- A transparent background is what stops the dreaded white rectangle when a recipient reads in dark mode; use the tolerance slider to clear any leftover paper shading.

Frequently asked questions
What size should an email signature image be?
Around 300–400 pixels wide and well under 100 KB. This preset targets 320 pixels and roughly 50 KB, which displays cleanly in the common mail clients without slowing anything down.
Why does my signature show as a white box in dark mode?
The image has a solid white background. Exporting as a transparent PNG fixes it — the ink floats over whatever background the mail client uses.
How do I add the image to my email signature?
In Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail, open the signature settings and insert the PNG as an image. Some clients let you paste it directly into the signature editor.
Should the ink stay its original color?
This preset keeps the original ink, so a blue-pen signature stays blue. If your ink photographed unevenly, the document preset's black-ink option produces a more uniform result.
